Government Utility Careers: PESCO Engineering Recruitment for Safety, IT, and Revenue Officers

Available Positions:

1. Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) / Junior Engineers
2. Assistant Manager (Safety)
3. Assistant Manager (Admin/HR)
4. Assistant Manager (Material Management)
5. Assistant Manager (Accounts)
6. Revenue Officer
7. Assistant Manager (PSA/CO)
8. Assistant Manager (Environment)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. SDO / Junior Engineers

• Qualification: BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Power Engineering preferred) – 1st Division from an HEC-recognized university.
• Requirement: Valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration.

2. Assistant Manager (Safety)

• Qualification: BS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3 years of HSE experience in a power utility.
• Certifications: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IOSH, or other recognized HSE certifications preferred.

3. Assistant Manager (Admin/HR)

• Qualification: MBA/MPA/MA (HRM)/M.Com/M.Sc (Computer Science) or Master’s in Economics, English, Statistics, or Mathematics with two 1st Divisions.
• Experience for PESCO Employees: BA/B.Sc (2nd Division) with 5 years of office experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.

4. Assistant Manager (Material Management)

• Qualification: M.Sc (Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics), M.Com, MBA, M.Sc (Computer Science), or B.Sc Engineering from HEC-recognized institutions.

5. Assistant Manager (Accounts)

• Qualification: CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter)/ACCA (Member), M.Com, MBA (Finance), B.Com (Hons), or BBA Finance (Hons) with 2 years of post-qualification experience in audit/accounts (BPS-16 or equivalent).
• Computer Literacy: Required.

6. Revenue Officer

• Qualification: M.Sc (Physics, Statistics, Mathematics), M.Com, MBA, M.Sc (Computer Science), B.Sc Engineering, or B.Tech (Hons) from HEC-recognized institutions.

7. Assistant Manager (PSA/CO)

• Qualification: Master’s degree (60%+ marks) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (4-year bachelor’s degree also eligible).
• Technical Test: Must score 60% in computer aptitude, technical knowledge (programming), and English/General Knowledge.

8. Assistant Manager (Environment)

• Qualification: B.E (Environment), B.Sc (Environmental Engineering), M.Sc (Environmental Sciences/Engineering), MBA (Environmental Management & Policy), or M.Sc Sociology from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in environmental studies.
