1. Introduction

A progressive public sector organization invites applications for a one-year Post Diploma Training Program (PDTP) in Nuclear Power Plant Technology. This opportunity is aimed at Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) holders and science graduates. The training will take place at two prestigious institutes: the Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE) in Karachi and the CHASNUPP Center of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT) in Mianwali.

The program equips participants with the skills required to pursue a rewarding career in nuclear power plant technology, with the next session commencing in September 2025.

2. Training Locations and Duration

The PDTP will be conducted simultaneously at the following locations:

Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE), Karachi
CHASNUPP Center of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT), Mianwali

The program spans three semesters over one year.

3. Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE):
- Three-year DAE with a score of 60% in one of these fields::
  - Chemical
  - Electrical
  - Electronics
  - Mechanical
  - Civil
  - Computer
  - HVAC
  - Metallurgy
  - Instrumentation & Control
- Candidates with diplomas in other fields must submit an equivalence certificate.
Science Graduates:
- Two-year B.Sc. or ADS degree with a combination of Physics or Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Must have at least 60% marks in SSC, HSC (Pre-Engineering), and B.Sc.

Age Limit

Maximum age: 25 years as of January 14, 2025 (born on or after January 14, 2000).

Awaiting Results Policy

Candidates awaiting their final year results may apply but must meet eligibility criteria by September 1, 2025.

4. Financial Support and Facilities

Throughout training, participants will benefit from the following:

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 17,500/-
Accommodation: For out-of-town trainees, free bachelor hostel accommodations are provided, subject to availability.
Healthcare: Free indoor medical treatment.
Transport: Complimentary transportation facilities.

5. Career Opportunities Post-Training

Successful trainees may secure employment as Tech-I/SA-I in SPS-4 with a salary range of Rs. 31,320 – 89,220, along with admissible allowances. Positions will be assigned across Pakistan on a regular basis under the CPF scheme.
